Long Shadow

Entertaining but not nearly up to Mills' usual high standards. His previous novels were generally well-researched and offered fascinating settings (France, Malta, Italy) with plots and situations that were unique within a specific historical context.

Who says fiction doesn't change lives? Thanks to Mark Mills, I've learnt how to peel bananas from the bottom end, like a monkey.
